An agitator is a device or mechanism to put something into motion by shaking or stirring. Industrial agitators are machines used in industries that process products in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, in a view of:

 Jetfoil agitator: Jetfoil or hydrofoil agitator blades are similar to the aerofoil used in airplanes. They are useful to drag the material in the direction of the blades. They are used in numbers in a vessel and each consecutive blade is placed in the opposite direction such that the blade at bottom throws the material upwards while the one at the top throws the material downwards.

 Anchor agitator: Anchors are close-clearance impellers that fit the contour of the vessel thus, encompassing the complete circumference area in the vessel. Anchor Agitators are used for optimizing the mixing system for higher viscosity.

 Contra-rotary agitator: Contra Rotary Agitator comprises of a dual drive, each drive has blades rotating in contra directions (i.e. one in clockwise direction and the other in anti-clockwise) to completely blend highly viscous products. It is suitable for thorough mixing/ blending of highly viscous and dense products like toothpaste, grease & other viscous compounds.

The shear pump widely known as the high shear pump is a mechanical device used for pumping liquids/semi solids working on the principle of high shear force produced in between the working head (i.e. rotor & stator). The pump works on the principle of the high centrifugal force produced due to the high rpm of the rotor mounted on the main spindle which exerts a centrifugal force on the water and pumps it to the stator walls and thus material is being sheared due to the very less tolerance between the rotor and stator.
